Abstract:
In this workshop, attendees will learn how to analyze survey data while accounting for its complex survey design. Using both the R and Stata software packages, we will demonstrate how to specify the survey design, impute any missing data, and analyze the survey outcomes of interest. We will discuss how our downstream “analysis” steps are related to initial operational “design” choices made by the survey data provider.
Note:
Please bring your own laptop.
For R, we will use instantaneous Jupyter notebooks (no install required)
For Stata, please have a TS1 account or your own copy of Stata
